WOLAS membership:
Joining WOLAS
Paid-up WOLAS members are entitled to attend all Meetings free of charge and to attend Observing Trips. A society Newsletter is sent out to members every 2 to 3 months about events and forthcoming meetings.
Membership costs:
£15 / year for adults
£20 / year for 2 adults at the same address
£5 / year for under 16s
£17.50 / year for a child and adult at the same address

If you have a Paypal account payment is easy using your email address and account login but please note that you don’t need a PayPal account to pay – we are just using their payment services and you should be able to pay using a credit or debit card without signing up to Paypal.

Renew WOLAS membership
The link above takes you to the online MemberMojo membership system to renew via PayPal or using a credit or debit card. You will need to log in to the MemberMojo membership system using the same email address that we use to send your Newsletters. No password is necessary as you will be emailed a log-in link. Please note that you don’t need a PayPal account to pay – we are just using their payment services.
We would much prefer you to renew your membership via MemberMojo but, if that is not possible you are able to print off a renewal slip and send to the Treasurer. Click on the form below to use this method.

Try before you buy!
Prospective members are more than welcome to attend for one or two meetings for free before deciding to join.
After three meetings we would encourage you to make a decision about whether WOLAS is for you or not. We really do hope it is and you like the people and what the society has to offer – WOLAS is one of the best value astronomical societies there is and this is mainly due to its great line up of speakers, low running costs, and large membership.

We try to make sure that our annual subscription is kept as low as possible, and we believe that it represents excellent value for money. Your subscription helps pay for the hire of halls, speakers’ expenses and many other things. Of course all the committee give their time voluntarily.
To join WOLAS, click on the ‘Apply to join WOLAS’ link at left and follow the instructions. You will be directed to our MemerMojo site through which our society membership is managed.
