Parador Tenerife November 1999
This visit was timed for a return of the Leonid meteors. We stayed at the Parador Hotel in Las Canadas on the caldera of the island of Tenerife, and were rewarded with large numbers of meteors, though not as many as had been seen on some earlier peaks, such as in 1966. The photos show members at the Parador, where there is a 24" reflector available by special arrangement.
